I've been a bit inactive lately... sorry! :blush:

Here's my recent commission. The ref was really small => :(
the faces were about 1-2cm on the printed photo I got, so you know...

I'm not fully satisfied because I think they don't look like the persons on the ref, though I don't know what I could change...

Materials I used:
Bristolboard 30x20cm
Faber Castell pencils HB H 2B 5B 8B
Kneadable eraser and BluTac
Tombow Mono Zero erasers
Tissues and tortillion

The size of the reference is just ridiculous... And the quality! :iconpukeplz: I suggest you decline those in the future, because it's so very hard to make a decent drawing from and in the end YOU feel bad about it, because you couldn't live up to your own expectations!
I think you did a GREAT job considering!

In the past I already had to decline such refs, but as this was for a fellow worker of my sister, I really had to it, because it will bring me (it already does) further commissions. So I guess it was worth it :D

Your being too hard on yourself dear. You've done a fab job considering the size of the reference. There should be a rule that clients don't give miniature photos as reference !

But it's a starter for new commissions, so I guess it was worth it :)

I really hope I won't have to use such a ref again, but I had to do it, because it's from a fellow worker of my sister and it will bring me other commissions too! Okay, it already does :giggle:
