Faber Castell Pencils H, HB, 2B, 5B, 8B
BluTac
Tombow Mono Zero erasers
Tissues and tortillion

And I used this as a guide for the background:

You'll have to bare with me as this is my first attempt at a critique.. Well what can I say other than this is a fantastic drawing. You have chosen a very nice composition to draw and I love the fact that the giraffes neck is twisted, which adds a nice little emphasis to the drawing. The detail in the fur and hair is superb.
The way you have used your pencil to capture all of the smallest detail is very well done. The white hairs up the maine stand out great and the whiskers on the chin are just as good. The eye is also very well done. Your shading and tones, along with the rest of the giraffe is bang on the money.
If I had to slightly criticise one thing then it would be the shading in the back ground (this is a very minor point and does not detract from this being a lovely drawing). This drawing of yours is very, very hard to criticise, so well done you should be very proud of yourself for this lovely piece.
