Edit: I donated this for an art auction for the benifit of an animal shelter (Tierheim Garmisch-Partenkirchen).
The art auction was a resounding success. There were approximately 50 images of about 30 artists!
This made about 60 € (about 86$) for the shelter!

This is my first try at scratching (is this the right english word??).
I used a cheap scraperboard, not an "Ampersand" and I found out that on this you can't earase ANYTHING (soft fur for example).
It took me about 4,5 hours, size is 30,5 x 22,9 cm.
The great reference comes from Dana Vahrenwald [link]

The surface your working on is the only thing holding you back. I hope you ordered plenty of Ampersand boards!? Remember to reduce the ink and apply in thin washes... you will be able to go back in and scratch again.....multiple times if needed. YOUR ON IT!

Thanks! I couldn't order some Ampersands until now, because the online shop hasn't it in storage yet.
I'm not sure I'm understanding what you mean that ink-thing. I didn't use ink yet, should I use it for retouch or is there more about it?

Its common to re ink the boards... building up thin washes and then rescratching... and YES ink to make repairs.
